Nigeria

A very reputable British curriculum international school in Nigeria with enviable facilities needs a whole school SEN Coordinator for an immediate start. The school offers a tax free salary of GBP20000 - 24000 per annum, return flights and furnished accommodation. The cost of living is very low in Nigeria and you can live exceptionally comfortably on this salary, while also saving a large sum of money. The school welcomes both single and married applicants and those with children. They even offer a 70% education discount. Teachers require a recognised teaching qualification and at least 2 years experience teaching SEN.

Salaries are very competitive and range from GBP 1400 to 2000 plus depending on experience. These are tax free salaries and accommodation is also provided, together with flights. This means that saving potential in Abu Dhabi is high and you can have a very high standard of living. Teachers require at least 1 year post qualification experience and a recognised teaching qualification.

Jakarta

A Primary and Secondary SEN coordinator is needed for a stunning international school located in South Jakarta. The school is set in a graceful mansion with purpose-built educational and sports facilities set amidst lush tropical grounds. The school offers a stimulating Australian curriculum, but welcomes applications from those with experience from other countries. This role is for a January 2012 start date.

Applicants must be fully qualified teachers and have a state school teaching qualification from the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada or the U.S. The qualification should ideally be in SEN and the school would like teachers to have five years post qualification experience.

The school offers an excellent salary from GBP 1852 to 2616, plus accommodation, flights, tuition fees for children and an end of contract bonus. Cost of living in Jakarta is lower than the UK so saving potential is very good.

Jakarta is situated on the island of Java and is surrounded by 110 other idyllic islands offering unrivaled tourist attractions, historic sites and areas of outstanding natural beauty. Qualifications

We recruit only qualified/certified state school teachers from the following countries:

Teachers must be fully trained to teach in state schools in one of these countries and possess full qualification/certification with teacher training such as a Bachelors or Masters of Education, PGCE, Higher Diploma in Education, etc. South African teachers with only a diploma of education will have very limited opportunities as most Ministries of Education require a Bachelors degree in Education, and do not like the word Diploma.

Please note that these are not jobs teaching English as a foreign language and therefore a TEFL certificate and/or non-educational Bachelors degree alone is not enough.
