An established and expanding school group requires school leaders and teachers for their growing Early Years centres in this exciting region of the world. These schools serve children aged 3 to 8, and use both UK as well as International Baccalaureate PYP curricula.

Kuala Lumpur or simply KL, is the capital of Malaysia. KL has grown from a small sleepy Chinese tin-mining village to a bustling metropolis of around 6.5 million (city-proper population of 1.8 million) in just 150 years. With some of the world's cheapest 5-star hotels, great shopping and even better food, increasing numbers of travellers are discovering this little gem of a city. The Petronas Towers which are some of the tallest buildings in the word have become the symbols for the astounding growth that has taken place in Malaysia over the last two decades. Kuala Lumpur is situated midway along the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia. It is approximately 35 km from the coast and sits at the centre of the Peninsula's extensive and modern transportation network.
Teachers flock to KL, with its very low cost of living, high quality of life and the ability to visit fascinating nearby locations such as the beaches of Sabah and Sarawak or the mangroves of Langkawi to feed the eagles. Beach, jungle or city - it's waiting for you.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a teaching degree for this age range such as a Bachelors of Education, Bachelors of Early Childhood Education, a degree + PGCE/PGDE or similar. Preference is given to teachers who have qualifications for the Early Years (ages 2-8).

Free tuition is available for the children of teachers; however, because the schools only serve children up to the age of 8, these posts are not suitable for teachers who have children over the age of 6 at the time the contract starts. Teachers with a trailing spouse are encouraged to research job possibilities for their spouses before applying.

* Salary of USD 3000-4500/month for teachers, USD 4500-5500/month for Directors (depending on qualifications, experience and location).
