Tandem Madrid Internship Program:

For European Union Nationals or North American University Students

Study Spanish and gain real work experience at the best companies in Madrid!

The goal of this Program is to improve your knowledge of Spanish through an internship in a company in Madrid. Students will be placed in companies according to their abilities, interests and field of study and/or professional experience. This is an opportunity not only to improve language skills, but to also gain professional experience in today's international workplace.

The Program:
4 weeks of intensive language instruction, four lessons per day. Placement in an internship position in a company in Madrid. Orientation and overseeing of the Program by the Tandem Madrid Internship Program Adviser. Cultural program. Tandem partner to exchange conversation and improve language skills. Certificate of completion.

Length of Program:
The Tandem Madrid Internship Program is from three to seven months, of which the first four weeks will consist of an intensive Spanish language course and the rest in an internship.

Place:
All internships will be carried out in companies located in Madrid.

Companies:
The Tandem Madrid Internship Program offers placements in companies, both national and multinational, in all sectors and fields. Once the participant has been accepted to the Program, he/she will be placed in an internship position, at all times aiming to conform to the requests, interests and abilities of the individual. Tandem cannot guarantee that all internship positions will fit the exact indications of each participant. However, interns will be placed in a company with as similar an environment as possible to that requested.

Accommodation: Students can arrange lodging for the program directly through Tandem's Accommodation Department.

We offer internship positions at our school as well as in many companies and organizations in and around Madrid.

Qualifications

Requirements. Participants must:
* have the equivalent level of Spanish to the Diploma Basico, issued by the Instituto Cervantes
* have a professional or educational background which would help them to be a responsible and productive member of the host companys staff
* be over 18 years old
* complete and send the required registration documentation at least 8 weeks before the date they wish to begin the Program
