  • Description

The hotel was once part of the main house on the coffee farm called Montes Eliseos, which is still used for the cultivation and processing of coffee as it has been for more than a century. The enormous water wheels on the farm were imported from England during the height of the coffee production in the country, and they date back to 1880. These wheels are still used, but today they have been adapted to provide a clean, environmentally friendly energy alternative.

Each suite is different, so that your stay at the Resort Kacike unique. Each suite is an updated interpretation of a chamber of the Queenship of Tak'alik Ab'aj. Each of them are embedded in the mountain and built with local materials by local artisans.

You can feel nature in all its glory, from the pleasant sound of rain in the mountains, the smell of wet earth and the sound of the fauna of the region.
