Description

This intensive experience in documentary production is based at the SU Abroad center in Strasbourg. It brings together Syracuse University and peers from the Hochschule Offenburg, University of Applied Sciences Program in Communications and Media Studies in Offenburg, Germany. You will work in a collaborative, pre-professional learning environment, developing, writing, and producing a multimedia documentary.

Highlights

You will use Skype conferences to prepare and follow up with your partner(s) in Germany during the semester before the program. Your hands-on multimedia production and post-production at Offenburg will be complemented by lectures.

You will meet European industry professionals, engage in critiques, discussions, and field trips along the "Rhine Connective Corridor" to the production facilities at ARTE Television in Strasbourg and Westdeutscher Rundfunk, Koln (WDR) where you will meet senior executives and producers.
