  • Description

Attend the world's most famous classic film festival event, Cinema Ritrovato, while immersing yourself in all aspects of film. This program is based on a total filmmaker/film studies approach in which students are engaged in the study of Italian film history along with that of script writing, visual strategy, prepoduction planning, and production. You'll generate ideas based on the study of Italian filmmakers such as Fellini, Bertolucci, Antonioni, and Scola, and incorporate what you learn into your own worldview and filmmaking interests. You'll also engage in independent research and internship activities with professional film restorers and researchers at the Cineteca of Bologna.
