Volunteer with the Giant Panda in China is a wonderful experience. The Giant Panda is one of the most endangered animals in the world. With our program you can help in the conservation work of the Giant Panda by volunteering at the Bifengxia Panda Base in China! It is a unique chance to cuddle the giant pandas, not only watch them in the zoo.

Bi Feng Xia panda base has been selected as China's latest giant panda protection base, it has a new role to play in altering the destiny of the endangered species. Pandas will be returned to nature after they have been given relevant training in simulated wild environments. There are 69 pandas living in this base by March 2009 and including 11 baby pandas.

For the safety and development of the captive giant panda, the State Forestry Administrative Bureau decided and invested 27.6 million RMB to build a new panda base, i.e. Yaan Bifengxia Base of China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda.

The volunteer works are:
- Clean the Panda's enclosures and the gardens
- Prepare food such as bamboo for the pandas
- Help the scientists to collect the behavior data
- Help with the administration
