Description

Sunflower-Sprachcamps offers English holiday camps for German kids at the age of 7 to 15 in the region of Dusseldorf and the Ruhr Area, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The camps take place during the summer holidays of this region in youth clubs (day camps) and youth hostels (overnight camps). The program of the camps consists games (indoor games, outdoor games, language games), sports, arts and crafts, singing and dancing, theatre /sketches.

I am looking for tutors to lead the camps and teach English for German children aged 7-15. The camps run for 6 weeks. The tutors teach in an interactive and fun way through the activities mentioned above. All materials are provided plus a free 5-day training course.

You should be an English native speaker with an outgoing character and a genuine interest in working with children. It isn't necessary to speak German. Preference is given to candidates with experience in working with children (group work). You should be available from 30 June to 18 August 2012.

Sunflower-Sprachcamps's Mission Statement

Ms. Kreul launched the sunflower-Sprachcamps in April 2007. The aim is to give German children and teenager the opportunity to enjoy a week in an English or French enviroment without travelling far. The children may realize that learning and speaking another language means a lot of fun, and is more than just a subject in school. The camps take place in school vacation in the Ruhr Area and Dusseldorf (North-Rhine Westphalia).
