Summer Discovery at Florence is a 4-week all-inclusive Academic and Cultural Immersion Program for High School Students. The program features a variety of College Credit and Enrichment courses including Italian Language, Fashion Design, Photography, Art History, International Marketing, Jewelry Making, Current Trends in Italian Cuisine, Soccer, Basketball and SAT Prep. Students study at the renowned the Istituto Lorenzo de'Medici, located in the heart of Florence.
Academic and enrichment courses meet Monday-Thursday, leaving plenty of time to explore all that Italy has to offer during our 3 day weekends. The program also features afternoon and evening activities within Florence and weekend road trips to Rome, Venice, Pisa, Lucca, Siena, Viareggio Beach, and more...

It is a rare combination of a Renaissance city of grand palazzos and artistic treasures, plus a bustling modern city with terrific entertainment. Located in the heart of Tuscany and connected by beautiful bridges across the Arno River, Florence and its environs offer our students a wealth of cultural, recreational and social activities. Living and studying in this remarkable place, students will be immersed in Italian language, academics, culture, the arts, travel and recreation.
