Summer Discovery at Spain features an intensive Spanish Language Program for High School students in Barcelona and Madrid. In addition to language courses and daily activities and excursions, students attend Cultural Enrichment courses including Spanish Art and Culture, Cooking Spanish Style, Flamenco Dance, Salsa Dance, Spanish Cinema, and more! The Spanish Language classes are taught by the renowned teachers of the Enforex Spanish Language Institute. Enforex has more than 15 years of experience teaching Spanish to students.
Highlights
Summer Discovery at Spain is a four-week language and cultural immersion program where students spend three weeks living in a newly renovated hotel in Barcelona and an optional week living in a hotel in Madrid. Summer Discovery affords students the opportunity to have a rich and meaningful experience in and out of the classroom. Students not only participate in academic coursework, but also in various enriching activities throughout these two wonderful cities. Afternoons and evenings are a great opportunity for students to choose one of at least five different activities and excursions taking place. In Barcelona, we visit Parc Guell and the Sagrada Familia to get a taste of Gaudi's masterpieces. We'll also visit the Olympic Village, the Picasso Museum, Tibidabo Amusement Park and of course, the beautiful beaches. On the weekends, we'll visit Montserrat, Sitges, Girona, and more! In Madrid, we visit Plaza Mayor, the stunning Palacio Real, the museum triangle, do a little skiing and the Madrid Xanadu Ski and Snowboard Park, see a Broadway show in Spanish, visit the ancient city of Toledo and many more enticing activities.
