Sales and marketing strategies, classic communication measures and advertising aimed to the European end consumer, research and development of new travel destinations and round trips in Honduras and surroundings for worldwide tourists, as well as the practical implementation as a tour guide.

We deliver profound insight into the working environment of an ambitious internationally operating tour operator in Honduras. We offer practical experiences as well as consolidation of your theoretical knowledge acquired in University studies.

Highlights

Internships from 3 to 6 months are available.

*Spanish and English fluency in speaking and writing are a basic tool for this internship, so application and resume most be delivered in Spanish.
*Accommodations during your stay in Honduras (Roatan as base, and during working trips) will have no costs for students, with the exception of your personal trips. Also, an alimony amounted in EUR 200.00 as minimum by month, will help the students with their local costs. It is suggested to have access to its own funds for complimentary personal expenses.
*Visa renewal (for more than 3 months stay) would be supported by us.
*We are open to students from all Europe, USA, Canada, Japan, Taiwan and Russia, but in general from everywhere.

Qualifications

You have successfully completed your academic studies or intermediate diploma preferably in tourism, or hospitality, or you are in upper semester of your Bachelor studies (business, marketing, latin american culture, economics), and you ideally have already had your a practical experience (internships, apprenticeships, vocational training, etc.) preferably in the tourism sector in Honduras or Latin America before.

We expect superior commitment to your tasks and rendition of services, a communicative personality, integrity and cross cultural competence. Person has to be willing to perform his/her tasks in Spanish, English as a must, as well as in its native language, during a continuous time frame of 3 months. It has to be very creative, possitive attitude, excellent presentation, and willing to work alone and/or as part of a team; also both in an office as well as outside in nature ambience.
