Story & Birch provides English language vacations to adult-age students: English training plus holiday activities combined!

We're located on the banks of the beautiful LaHave River in Nova Scotia, Canada. We're only minutes from the Atlantic Ocean and the historic town of Lunenburg.

Stay for 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks or longer - it's up to you! Business professionals, individuals and small groups / families are welcome.

Individuals under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

What We Offer:

* English Training
- Small group training: We train a maximum of 4 people at a time. Fewer people = more time to focus on you
- After you book your vacation, we'll contact you by phone to learn more about you and your English needs
- During your stay, you'll have many opportunities to have intensive English practice with your trainers, other guests and local people
- Important language will be introduced / reviewed before, during and after each activity
- Throughout your stay, we'll give you on-the-spot individual feedback
- Each day, you'll receive a private training class, in addition to group training and group activities
- When you leave, we'll give you a feedback report, with details about your English level (CEF), your English strengths and development areas

Sure, you're here to improve your English. But a vacation is no fun without interesting things to do! In addition to your training, we offer vacation activities. Some of the many activities we offer (depending on the season) include:

- Whale watching
- Visits to vineyards, farms or specialty manufacturers

Program Fees Include:

All rates include: Airport pick-up and drop-off from Halifax Stanfield International Airport, English training, classroom materials, accommodation, meals, vacation activities and government taxes. All costs are in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

Our booking seasons are:
Low Season (November - February)
Mid Season (March - May / September - October)
High Season (June - August)

Low Season: CAD 895 per week (private) / CAD 695 per week (shared)
Mid Season: CAD 995 per week (private) / CAD 795 per week (shared)
High Season CAD 1095 per week (private) / CAD 895 per week (shared)
