STEPWEST Working Holiday Program gives you the opportunity to live and work in one of Canada's top resort, or experience Vancouver; the most livable city in the world. This program allows you to pay off your expenses thanks to the paid job, meet people from all around the world and improve your English. A real asset on your resume and a life changing experience!

Duration: From 6 to 12 months for most countries.

This program includes: a guaranteed job placement, visa help, airport transfer, 3 nights hostel in Vancouver, resume revision, interview preparation & training, orientation session upon arrival with practical information (bank account, social insurance number, cell phone etc.), Vancouver city guide, ongoing monitoring & support throughout your placement, 24/7 assistance and access to activities and parties hosted by STEPWEST.

Process:
Once you register in the program and choose from either the City or Resort option, we will help you prepare your visa application, review your "Canadian-style" resume, arrange an interview with you and an employer. Once you confirm your visas and flights, we will book your hostel room for 3 nights in Vancouver as well as send you the Vancouver guide. Upon your arrival, we will conduct an orientation session combined with an interview practice, followed by an interview with the employer. Few days later you can either start working in Vancouver or go to the resort to begin work.

If you are looking for the city life Vancouver is for you. Vancouver is Canada's most dynamic city, and it's not by hazard that the International Olympic Committee selected Vancouver as the Host City for the XXI Winter Games, selecting the city for its beauty, accessibility, unlimited services and activities.

Type of jobs: You can work in restaurants, cafes, hotels or retail store positions. Sample jobs include barista, cashier, store clerk, busser, and kitchen help.

Resort Job

If you are looking to live the adventure and enjoy outdoor activities, this program is made for you. Resort jobs are available all over Western Canada, at ski resorts, summer resorts and hotels.

Location: Resort jobs are available in Whistler, the Rocky Mountains, the Okanagan Valley, and Vancouver Island. Vancouver Island is only available for jobs during the summer.

Type of Jobs: Sample jobs include room attendant, front desk attendant, maintenance, lift attendant, line-cook, server, banquet server, busser, dishwasher, steward, hostess etc. All of our resort job placements include staff accommodation provided or set-up by the employer.

Qualifications

* Be eligible or have the working holiday visa under the Youth Mobility or International Experience Canada.
* Registration needs to be at least one month minimum prior to arrival for candidates who already have their working holiday visa. For the ones who need to apply registration needs to be at least 2 months before arrival.
* Age: From 20 to 35 years old.
* This program is available all year long. Resort start date are Mid-November and early June.
