    We live in a rapidly changing, volatile, and globalized world. Businesses today face multiple challenges as they try to balance economic success with the growing need for sustainable practices. The Certificate Program in International Business and Sustainable Development equips students and professionals with the necessary skills to achieve this balance.

    All students take two required introductory courses and then select two additional courses in one of three concentrations:
    1. International Marketing Management
    2. International Financial Management
    3. Sustainable Management in the International Environment

    Students also gain hands-on business experience through a specialized internship program with leading corporations in the international markets.

    Program Courses:

    a. Obligatory Courses: Two courses (6 CH)
    DBE-BUS/1500 - Introduction to Business and Economics
    DBE-BUS/3630 - International Business and Global Economics

    b. Elective Courses: Two courses (6 CH). Students must choose two courses from the below three alternative Areas of Concentration/Specialization. The student has to select the two elective courses from the same concentration area.

    * International Marketing Management Specialization
    DBE-BUS/2700 - Principles of Marketing
    DBE-BUS/3000 - Promotion and Advertising
    DBE-BUS/3020 - Consumer Behavior
    DBE-BUS/3300 - Marketing Research Methods

    * International Financial Management Specialization
    DBE-BUS/2600 - Principles of Finance
    DBE-BUS/3650 - Introduction to Accounting
    DBE-BUS/3700 - Financial Accounting
    DBE-BUS/3750 - Managerial Accounting

    * Sustainable Management in the International Environment Specialization
    DBE-BUS/2400 - Principles of Sustainable Management
    DBE-BUS/2500 - Green Business Strategy
    DBE-ECO/2250 - Environmental Economics
    DBE-ECO/3100 - Environmental Economics & Sustainable Development

    c. Internship (3 CH)
    DBE-BUS/4900 - DBE-ECO/4900 - Internship with a leading organization in the Area of Specialization which operates in the international markets.
