This internship in Netherlands will be focused on building knowledge of industries, companies and executives for our EMEA region by researching publicly available information on the Internet and through print publications. This is a proactive research position working on projects that help enhance the content of our database for the region. The position is located in the Corporate Amsterdam office.
* Work closely with the team members to develop proactive research on defined companies.
* Through Internet research, populate our proprietary database with key data on executives and companies as identified by the region.
* Build practice specific research tools and resources combining our proprietary database, QuestNT, with external research and information.
* Review industry literature for executive changes. Populate the database with key data points.
* Utilize various Microsoft Office applications to present research to the firm.
* Strong research skills: Experience with collecting and organizing information from databases and/or Internet resources. Has ability to read and synthesize data into other formats.
* Computer literate: Strong knowledge of Word, Excel and the internet
* Undergraduate degree (working or completed)
* Multi-lingual: Working knowledge of spoken and written English is mandatory.
* Studies in Business, Economics or related field. Knowledge of basic business terminology a plus.
* Tenacious attention to detail: Consistently performs at a high-level of quality and pays close attention to details.
* Sense of urgency and commitment: Strong service-minded and customer focused ethic.
* Strong written and oral communications skills: Ability to effectively convey ideas, information or instructions in a written or verbal manner.
* Responsible judgment: Knowing when to ask questions and when to make a decision independently.
* Analytical and patient: Possess a strong thought process when dealing with complex research or data issues. Ability to prioritize multiple projects by balancing priorities while producing a consistent volume of quality work.
**Applicants must possess a valid EU work permit or must be enrolled in a University program in The Netherlands.
Internship does not pay for relocation, housing. Small payment for internship and travel to work only available.
