The Spanish school in Cusco is located in the historic city center next to a quaint square with a beautiful fountain, one block from the Inca archaeological monument Coricancha (sun temple), restaurants, bars, craft markets, museums, banks, hotels and the famous Plaza de Armas. With long-lasting teaching experience and an efficient study program, the Spanish language will be taught with accurately chosen audiovisual material to improve the current Spanish skills of the students and to learn more about the Peruvian culture. Teamwork on the one hand and individual projects on the other hand are highly emphasized during the classes and lead to remarkable improvements of the language skills and underline the success of the language school. The school building provides students with a comfortable and familiar environment and consists of 4 fully equipped classrooms, 1 TV room, 1 Library, 2 common areas, 5 bathrooms, 1 computer with internet connection for the students, Wireless connection. The Spanish school in Cusco offers courses based on Language & Cultural Immersion. This means you will learn intensively the Spanish language and get a deep insight into the local culture and the Inca heritage. The Spanish language programs are designed in a very efficient manner to ensure you meet your Spanish goals in a short period of time. The Spanish lessons are of high quality. All teachers have experience in teaching Spanish to foreigners. The courses are divided into twelve different levels (respectively four different beginners, intermediate and advanced levels) to ensure similar language skills in each class. On the first day of class, a placement test will determine your individual Spanish skills.

The Spanish lessons focus on three different topics: studying new grammar and deepening the application of the newly studied grammar with different exercises as well as conversation training. The teaching methodology was created by the Spanish school itself and reflects the experience of each teacher.

The Spanish courses in Cusco take place year-round and you can individually determine your schedule. The courses start every Monday. Each Spanish lesson lasts 50 minutes. The school gives official, stamped certification and, according to the procedure of each country's universities, this certification can count as a university credit.

* Group Course: The group course consists of 20 lessons per week, that means 3 Spanish lessons each day. There is a maximum of six students per class to ensure individual help and a fast learning progress.

* Intensive Course: The intensive course is made up of the mentioned group courses in the morning and four additional private classes per week in the afternoon. On the one hand, students can broaden their knowledge obtained in the group course and on the other hand they can eliminate personal weaknesses or repeat complex learning contents.

* Private Course: The private course consists of 20 lessons weekly. It allows personal and focused orientation by a private teacher as well as an individualized learning pace. The weekly schedule can be reduced to 10 hours or increased to 30 hours. Extra lessons can be booked flexibly according to your needs.

During your stay at the Spanish school in Cusco we want you to be involved with the local culture as much as possible. We recommend you to take advantage of our homestays to practice Spanish and be exposed to local culture. Middle-class families are carefully selected and provide each student with a private room and kitchen access. Do not assume that you are too old for a homestay as many of our students are older than their host "parents." For many of our students, their homestay is one of the most rewarding experiences they have while studying abroad. Breakfast and dinner are served by the family and included in the accommodation fee.

Additionally we offer accommodation in shared apartments, where you will live with other students. No meal plan is available with the shared apartments. However you will have access to a kitchen to prepare your own meals. The student apartment is the best option for anyone who wants to combine the Spanish immersion experience with meeting new friends. All apartments are fully furnished and equipped. You may have a private or shared room, with a same-sex roommate.
