Description

A country with over 2000 years of history, there is much involvement to be had in the conservation and protection of this land and Peruvian culture.

We mainly partner with small organizations that prioritize community and environmental standards. Further in Peru, as the majority of inhabitants are Indigenous, we seek partners who support culture preservation with a balance of increasing quality of life.

We aim to place our participants in organizations that support orphanages, Indigenous community outreach programs, institutions for special-need children/adults, day-care centers, safe-houses for abandoned children and struggling mothers, hospitals and schools.

Environmental projects are also available to encourage environmental stewardship, resource conservation and wildlife conservation.

In combination with the volunteer projects we offer Spanish courses. A minimum four-week Spanish course is required for the participation in our volunteer program (unless participants already entail a working knowledge of Spanish).

* Minimum volunteer duration of three weeks (Arequipa) and four weeks (Lima, Cusco)

In all three Peruvian cities, during your Spanish language course and your volunteer work project we offer accommodation at host families. In Lima it is also possible to stay at a shared apartment. The accommodation at host families includes half board (Lima, Arequipa) and full board (Cusco). The accommodation at shared apartments does not include any meals.

Normally the language school and the volunteer institution are in walking distance or easily reachable by bus. Shopping facilities, restaurants, nightclubs, dancing schools, cyber-cafes and fitness centers are also located close-by.
