  • Description

The Tour Operator is one of the biggest and most established agency in town and provides excellent service and amazing tours to its clients. During your Work & Travel stay in southern Chile you will perform tasks related to the tourism business, especially out-door activities. You will do both administration work as well as assisting at the realization of outdoor tours and excursions. Depending on the work load and your personal strength you will be assigned to your main responsibilities when you get to Chile. Whatever is the case you will work very closely to international and national tourists.

Among your daily to-dos are the reception and attendance of clients who visit the agency. After a short training you should be able to advice the guests about the agency's programs and offers. You will attend clients both personally as well as by mail or over the phone. You might also be asked to develop and realize marketing activities and to conduct daily administrative tasks.

But it is not all office work! You also will get the unique opportunity to accompany the tour guides to the many different excursions and out-door sport activities they offer. Among these are horseback riding, ascending volcanoes, canopy, rafting, climbing, hiking, water sports, zip-line and so on.
