The Spanish school is located right in the middle of the beautiful Chilean Lake District and has a very familiar and personal atmosphere. Due to many years of experience the school has developed excellent teaching methods and all the teachers are native speakers. The Spanish language courses are of high quality and within just a short period of time you will realize that your language skills have greatly improved!

In order to obtain maximum results within a short period of time and to give you enough time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, the Spanish school in Pucon focuses on one-on-one Spanish classes. The lessons are tailor-made according to your needs and will be taught as effective as possible. Teaching material and learning speed are adjusted individually to you. The learning model is perfect for travellers who want to get prepared for their southern Patagonia experience!

Since we want you to learn Spanish in the most effective way possible, the courses are one-on-one (one student per class) and one-on-two (two students per class). Classes are from Monday to Saturday, but you will only have school five days a week. You can start your course any day of the week. On your day off you can explore Pucon's beautiful surroundings. One class lasts 60 minutes and you will attend two or three classes per day. The language school also provides you with additional material like Spanish magazines or study reviews to give you the opportunity to do some studying on your own.

Courses are divided into two different levels of language: Beginner level, which is mainly focused on basic communication and grammar in daily life situations, and the advanced level, which mainly deals with problems and texts of the Mapuche culture (the indigenous people of this region) and also includes a visit to the Mapuche cultural center Kurarewe.

Non-academic activities: Learning a language does not always have to take place in the classroom. At our partner school in Pucon you will also have the chance to participate in excursions. All excursions are in Spanish. You are also more than welcome to join the day and weekend trips or the popular dance classes all excellent options to practice your newly acquired Spanish language skills and to get in touch with local people!

Highlights

In Pucon, you will be staying with one of the carefully chosen host families, giving you the excellent opportunity to get to know more about this wonderful country, discovering Chilean traditions, culture and typical Chilean food. You will have our own room but might share the bathroom with family members. You can use common rooms, like living or dining room and the kitchen as well. The accommodation includes full board and provides you with 3 delicious meals each day per week.

Living with your host family enables you to immersion into local culture and to practice your Spanish skills outside the classroom in real life situations.
