Marine Conservation and PADI Dive Master Internships
Description
Combine professional PADI scuba diving qualifications with maine conservation training in Mexico. This six month PADI Dive Master internship allows you to receive various certifications and conduct crucial marine conservation research.
You will learn how to live and work with a research team in a remote environment for the first 12 weeks. The research station is located off the world's second largest barrier reef which will provide you with a diverse area to dive and to monitor.
The project is in the Sian Ka'an Biosphere reserve. The data collected provides invaluable insight to assess the health of the reef and surrounding areas.
During the subsequent 12 week internship placement, you will be based at a PADI dive center where you will take the Dive Master course, advanced training courses, and shadow the dive center staff.
We also offer a four week program for those looking for a shorter alternative. More information can be found at www.SmallerEarth.com
