Description

- Skalafell is a family farm located on south-east Iceland, just by the roots of glacier Vatnajokull. We offer comfortable accommodation in single, double and triple rooms and we focus on personal service. The nearest town is Hofn and pearls like Skaftafell and Jokulsarlon (The Glacier Lagoon) are nearby.

- Skalafell is a part of the Icelandic farm holidays company and a 1/3 of the Skalafell area belongs to Vatnajokulsþjoogarour, the largest national park in Europe. Beautiful hiking trails at the place.

- We offer accommodation in 10 double rooms. Six of them are rooms with private facilities in three cottages in front of the guesthouse. In the guesthouse are four rooms with shared facilities. All the rooms are non-smoking.
