    Choose the Silver Coast

This beutiful area remains unspoilt and and is a favourite holiday spot of the Portuguese. The prices are reasonable both housing and everyday items. Local people are very friendly and helpful. The beaches are world class, indeed the European heat of the Ripcurl world championships was held at Peniche in 2009 and returning this year 2010. The countryside is stunning, reminiscent of Tuscany especially in summer as the fields are cleared of grains andfruits of the vines and orchards of pears ripen in the sun.

Don't put it off, Visit the Silver Coast and stay at the Silver Coast Guest House

    Who We Are
We are an early retired couple who moved over to Portugal from the Wirral near Liverpool. We originally intended to move to Spain but after 18 months of looking we realised it was not the place for us. We took a short holiday in Portugal, It was our first visit to the Silver Coast but we were so impressed we fell in love with the place and never returned to Spain.

We bought the land, built the house, dug the pool and can now enjoy the fruits of our (well the builders) labours.

Why a guest house? When we were looking to buy in this area we would have liked to stay with people who could inform us about the area, that "inside" knowledge that comes with experience of a country. That and a strong desire to show off the fabulous region of the Silver Coast. We are keen to share the pleasures of living in this beautiful area with our visitors. We have always had a hospitable house so now we want to share our home, views and our knowledge of the area with you.
