The SIDHI (Social Institute of Deliberate Human Immanence) work for voluntary Health, Environment, Education and Rural Development established in 1999 is a non-profit service organization and is dedicated to the upliftment of the poor and deprived communities in the region of district Sirmour in Himachal Pradesh.
SIDHI works at grassroots level for upgrading, enhancing the knowledge and skills of rural people through the varieties of empowerment and income generating activities, in the rural and peri-urban areas. Over the Last Six years, the organization has been developed as one of the major successful organization in this region. SIDHI strives to equip poor and discriminated people; therefore it plays a major role for human and institutional development.
SIDHI offers exciting opportunities for those wishing to intern with us and be involved in our various projects.
You could choose to work on any of our following projects:
* Teaching life-skills management to school children, computer training etc., assisting with the special educators project at the local level for children with special needs
* Conducting health check-ups at schools/villages (for Doctors / Dentists / Others)
* Assisting with documentation of our activities including annual reports, progress reports
* Writing fund-raising proposals
* Scrap book pictures of our activities
