In this Global PeaceMakers program, volunteers from Ghana, the US, Sierra Leone, Europe, and Cote d'Ivoire and more will collaborate with local community members to initiate a community poultry farm. Service For Peace has been working in the partner Community of Peace of Assin Manso for over a year.
Global PeaceMakers projects bring together young adults from nations throughout the world and the world in an effort to offer models for intercultural cooperation through service.
The GPM is a service-learning project with a special focus on building personal leadership and peacemaking skills through service. Also woven into the schedule is time to see and experience the local culture and beautiful landscapes of Ghana - a fascinating culture that is sure to leave a mark on your heart.
Join us for a transformational experience in peacemaking, with participants from different cultures and traditions coming together as one family.
