While working on constructing a much needed school in a rural area of Nicaragua, they will work alongside community members offering the opportunity to make friends, play with the children, and learn more about Nicaraguan life. Evenings will be spent discussing the concepts of development and how to define truly constructive, sustainable community building and what the role of North Americans would ideally be in this process. Some afternoons and a weekend will be spent visiting with community leaders, visiting craft markets, museums, places of historical interest, local organizations, and visiting places of natural beauty.
