Founded in 2011, Seed Global Health is a non-profit and non-governmental organization. We aim to provide medical and nursing training support in countries with less resources. Together with the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief and the Peace Corps, we established the Global Health Service Partnership (GHSP) in 2012. This program, which started the first “Peace Corps for doctors and nurses”, is a federal initiative that addresses the lack of health professionals across the globe. In our first year, we had 11 training institutions in partner countries - Uganda, Tanzania, and Malawi - served by 30 doctors and nurses. In our second year, we had 13 sites in these countries served by 42 clinical educators.
Join us in our effort to help improve the capacity of clinical care and to bolster health systems!
