The school Parola organizes tailored courses for students over 50s who want to spend a language holiday in Florence or for participants who want to live in Tuscany in a spa town called Montecatini Terme. Parola will cover the train expenses from Montecatini to Florence.

Students who are over 50s never reluctantly study or show a little bit of disinterest in learning Italian. Most importantly is that over 50s students are more and more willing to learn Italian and most of times they show that for them it is a real rewarding and pleasurable time.

One can speak Italian in different ways and with various language levels: this is also valid for younger students.. Usually, students who are over 50s are capable of speaking another language with nice communication skills even though they lack grammar rules and the right fluency. They take advantage of their maturity and their ability at interacting. For over 50s, learning another language is a rewarding experience which stimulates their mind again thanks to new and interesting educational challenges that they may face when they learn a language. And they can do it quite well and proficiently since most of time, participants who are in their 50s have gained skills and intellectual competence because of their job and or for their maturity in general.

Our policy on the course for Over 50s:

There is a special policy for these dedicated courses, students will have a discount: they will not pay the 50 euros fee for the course registration if they decide to take a course in Florence with an accommodation in Montecatini Terme.

PAROLA's Mission Statement

Parola is an Italian language school in Florence that holds its Italian language courses in the art center of Florence. The Italian school Parola of Florence offers group Italian courses, individual Italian lessons and combined Italian classes. Our school prepares students for the CILS certificate with a dedicated course and provides Italian language lessons for Au Pairs in Florence. Italian courses and dedicated classes are open to students of all ages.
