Universidad San Ignacio De Loyola
Great Spring Semester in Cusco
Submitted by Noah Peden - Colorado State University | June 18, 2013
I spent a wonderful spring semester in Cusco studying at USIL through Proworld. There were 30 other students in my program from all backgrounds. I was able to take all the classes I needed to graduate including an amazing Latin American Literature class and a super cool Incan history class where we actually visited a couple of ruins on field trips. To be able to visit 1000 year old ruins just during a regular class period, that's what made USIL so special. Also the administration made sure we had everything we needed, my homestay family was wonderful and I always heard great things about Casa Don Ignacio, which was the university housing.
Anyways, a rigorous academic schedule along with trips to awesome ruins combined with cultural immersion made my semester in Peru too legit to quit.
