Volunteers will be teaching, singing, dancing and having fun with the underprivileged children. They might as well be engaged in construction work for the orphanage home. Hiking with the children.
Volunteering in Nepal with Sahara Foundation is both fruitful to the volunteers and the beneficiaries. These unlucky children will get some sunshine from the volunteers and the volunteers shall have an exceptional experience about how miserable life could be and yet not to lose the smile.

To produce competent and cultured personality is the main goal of Sahara Foundation. It will have the following points as its objectives: 1. To fulfill basic needs of children. Basic needs include accommodation, food, clothing, health, education and so on; 2. To explore, discover and develop the inner interest/skill of the children; 3. To promote informal education to create a full fledged human being; 4. Since there is a high degree of correlation between the poverty and Education, Sahara Foundation shall also be emphasizing on Poverty Alleviation Programs; 5. To increase literacy rate by organizing various class packages; 6. To set up free health check up camps at times; 7. To conduct in depth researches about various aspects of children; 8. To conduct various sport Tournaments and excursions as they are integral part of our education; 9. To conduct various concerting campaigns for the awareness against the domestic violence, unwanted pregnancies, child labour, infant mortality etc. that are the root causes for the increased in the children in the streets; 10. To develop the habit to appreciating the local art, culture, heritages to facilitate the life to be lived comfortably making necessary adjustments as per the society; 11. To empower the youths by providing an opportunity to work in the community to carry out the above objectives.
