Have you ever dreamed of living on a beautiful remote island and experiencing the thrill of tropical adventures? Escape to The Fiji Islands is a brilliant combination of both that will leave anyone seeking adventure and exploration in awe.
Tropical Adventure
Picture yourself 70 feet about the forest floor straight in front of you is nothing but air. You take a leap and are sailing through the air at 60 kilometers per hour as you zip line through the forest canopy. This is just one of the activities that will set your heart racing on the Escape to The Fiji Islands program. Other adventures include parasailing, kayaking, exploring giant sand dunes, and (optional) skydiving from 14,000 feet. By the time you have finished one activity, there will be another one just around the corner!
The Magic of the Islands
Part of your trip will be based on beautiful Nacula Island in the famous Yasawa Island Chain. Your home will be the picturesque Rustic Pathways Island Base, which is situated right on spectacular Malakati Beach, a stunning five-hour boat ride from the mainland. Malakati is reputed to be the grandest of all the beaches in this stretch of islands, and you will witness spectacular sunsets, meet friendly villagers, and swim in tranquil waters that are only a few meters from your base camp. Life on this island is relaxed and peaceful, and the days drift quietly by as each sunrise and sunset melds into the next. It's a picture-perfect island setting. A giant crescent of pure white sand stretches before you, palm trees cast shadows into the blue water, and the village kids laugh, joke and swim with you each afternoon. They never tire of trying to entice you into the water!
During your time in Malakati, you will have a chance to scuba dive (optional), explore underwater caves, snorkel, kayak, and hike to the top of one of the tallest mountains in the Yasawas. Your days will be filled with exciting activities. And your nights can be spent watching as the locals perform a meke (the traditional Fijian warrior dance), relaxing next to a bonfire on the beach, or telling stories under the stars. This is island life at its best!
