Get ready for two weeks of action-packed adventure in the jungles of Costa Rica.

You will hike through tropical rainforest, view volcanic lava flows, zip line through jungle treetops, rappel down stunning cliffs, swim in picturesque waterfalls, and raft a raging river. You'll love the energy and diversity of this awesome, full-throttle immersion into Costa Rica.

Costa Rica's primary rainforest is home to a colorful cast of Central America's most exotic creatures. You may spot several different species of monkeys, brilliantly colored iguanas, white-nosed coatis, two- and three-toed sloths, a rich array of exotic frogs, and a seemingly infinite variety of birds as you explore some of the most cherished areas of the country.

Away We Go...
The adventure will begin with a journey through the jungle to the spectacular Pacific Coast. Hike through primary and secondary rainforests to a cave once inhabited by a shaman, and then rappel down a 150-foot cliff as waterfalls surge on each side of you. Sleep in a cave behind a glistening waterfall and wake to the golden light of sunrise filtering through a shimmering curtain of falling water.

Next, travel up the coast to the famous Manuel Antonio National Park to spot monkeys, hike in the rainforest, and sea kayak through mangroves (optional). Then leave the jungle behind for a few days and head for the cool coast of the Nicoya Peninsula. Here you'll sail the clear Pacific waters, snorkel in beautiful reefs, and spend a few days learning to surf. The exhilarating pace will continue as you head to the Fortuna area. Zip line over the rainforest canopy, wonder at a breathtaking show of lava fireworks at Arenal Volcano, and soak in soothing natural hot springs. This fast-paced week also includes an optional bungee jump from a 280-foot bridge!

Whitewater on the Pacuare
Conclude your adventure with a three-day whitewater rafting voyage down the Pacuare River. Rushing rapids, a lush jungle setting, exotic wildlife, deep canyons, and gorgeous waterfalls make the Pacuare one of the top five rafting rivers in the world. Discover this wild river as you plunge through class III and IV rapids and gaze up at towering cliffs cloaked in green. Cap off the trip with a satisfying dinner of exotic cuisine at the river base lodge.
