RUDEC now offers eco-tours in Cameroon. Tourists will visit natural waterfalls, crater lakes, museums, go hill hiking and learn traditional dances.

This project is still at its foundation stage...we are looking for specialist in the development of this industry in our project.

RUDEC has no means to meet the needs of the community but hope that with this project...we can be able to be sustainable to support other work going on.

Discover Cameroon through Eco-Tourism with RUDEC.

The Rural Development Centre (RUDEC), which started in the South West Province in 2001, is the idea of one man, Chiamba Joshua Anyeah. RUDEC became a reality in the North West Province, in Belo, in 2005 and was registered in February 2006 as a Common Initiative Group (CIG) - not for profit organisation. The idea for RUDEC came about as a means to create employment opportunities for Joshua and other Cameroonian youths. Joshua realised that by focussing on the needs of rural people, a centre such as RUDEC could empower and benefit local communities. Members are involved in grassroots participatory programs and are advocates of rural development in Belo and, in the future, the Boyo Division.

RUDEC aims to serve the neediest members of the rural communities of Cameroon's Boyo Division through the creation of education, social and economic empowerment projects The purpose of the RUDEC is to create employment opportunities and support small farm and home-based small businesses using organic farming, thus fighting poverty in rural areas by creating awareness on the sustainable management of natural resources The means of fulfilling the mission and purpose of the RUDEC is to provide training, education, support, and other learning and health activities that enhance the quality of life of groups and individuals including children, youth, adults and older adults.
