Rockville Guest House provides bed and breakfast accommodation at 2.5 kilometers from the heritage town of Westport in County Mayo on the west coast of Ireland, with panoramic views, including that of Croagh Patrick and Clew Bay.

Westport is a 17th century planned town that has won Ireland's Tidiest Town Award a number of times. It is about an hour drive from Connemara, Achill Island and Knock Shrine. Outdoor activities in the region include walking, fishing, cycling, horse riding, golf, blue flag beaches, leisure center and museums.

All bedrooms at the Rockville B&B are ensuite with electric blankets and hair dryers. We offer tea or coffee with home baking on arrival. Tea and coffee are available in the conservatory at all times. There is a television in the lounge. Free wi-fi and wireless Internet within the guest house.

Location

To get there from Westport, go up High Street, behind the clock. Turn right at the first T junction (Lankill signpost) and left on the first turn. One mile out on that road, you will come to a Y junction, keep left. Rockville Bed & Breakfast is approximately 200 yards on the left.

Coming from Connemara on the N59, just after the filling station/shop, you will see a sign for Rockville. Turn right and right again for half a mile. Coming from Westport or the Quay, take the N59 to Clifden for about a mile. At the filling station/ship, turn left and right at the end of the road for around half a mile.

Taxis are affordable at 8 to 10 Euro, and easy to find. They can be hailed on the street, called from a call box or found by the train station or the town center.
