Situated in a private 17th century mansion on the banks of the Rhein between Cologne and Düsseldorf, Germany the Rhein River Guesthouse has comfortable and stylish rooms for a long or short-term stay. We offer a multicultural easy-going environment and welcome guests from around the world. Within a local atmosphere of peace and tranquillity, the house with its particular flair offers a lively international meeting place for lovers of music, art and beauty.

Our house features parquet floors, a marble entrance, ornate ceilings, and many inviting open spaces. We offer a delicious breakfast and you can also enjoy local restaurants and cafes. Relax with a beautiful walk or bicycle ride along the Rhein. Enjoy the in-house art gallery and the sculptures in the courtyard.

The Rhein River Guesthouse is only a short drive from the centre of both Dusseldorf and Cologne, and very close to Leverkusen. Being only 3 minutes drive from the main motorway, our guesthouse is very easy to access, allowing you a restful and relaxing stay by the River as well as the exciting activities of the city.

Location

By car from Cologne or Düsseldorf:

A 59 between Cologne and Düsseldorf
Exit Nr. 27 Rheindorf/Hitdorf, then turn right direction Hitdorf
In Hitdorf turn left at the sign "Fähre Köln-Langel"
Next turn right (Wiesenstr.), straight until Rheinstrasse 54, about 200 m.

By train:
S 6 from Cologne to Leverkusen-Mitte (17 min.)
Bus Nr. 233 direction Monheim (17 min).
After 8 pm or on the weekend first take bus 211 until "Pützdelle" and then bus 233.
Exit in Hitdorf, bus stop "Werftstrasse"
turn down Werftstrasse towards the Rhine, then turn left (Rheinstr.)
After approx. 50m house nr. 54.

By boat:
from Cologne tram N°12 until termimus Merkenich
Bus 121, 10 minutes until terminus "Köln Langel Fähre"
Ferry (4 min.) 1,10 Eur/Person or 3,10 Eur/car with one Person (only until 7 pm)
turn left and have a nice 5 minutes walk.

By plane:
Cologne Airport (Köln-Bonn) or Düsseldorf Airport
cheap lines are Germanwings or Easyjet
it is easy to take the train from Cologne airport: S13 until Köln-Deutz, then S6 until Leverkusen-Rheindorf.
