* By land:
Daily bus services run from and to numerous Bolivian towns and cities and from most Argentine cities as well as Santiago, Chile. There are also regular services from Iquique (Chile), Asuncion (Paraguay), and Montevideo (Uruguay).

* By air:
Tarija's modern national airport, "Capitan Oriel Lea Plaza", has daily flights from La Paz, Sucre, Cochabamba, and Santa Cruz.
