Description

The La Ciutadella Residence Hall was inaugurated in the year 2001. It has 270 places in total and has various facilities designed to make your stay as comfortable as possible. This residence hall is for accommodating students of the Pompeu Fabra University during the academic year.

The residence hall also offers rooms for daily stays of small groups the whole year round. In summer all of its places are for groups and for the general public for stays lasting a few days and/or weeks.

The residence hall will be open all days of the year.

Location

1. By airplane (from the Prat airport):
The airport, which is 13 km from Barcelona, is well communicated with the city centre by several means of transport:
- Taxi: it usually costs between 25-30 €.
- Train: there are trains to Barcelona every 30 minutes. You must get off at the Passeig de Gràcia station, catch the underground (L4) to Urquinaona station and change to the L1 line to Arc de Triomf station.
- Bus (Aerobus): they stop at the Plaça Catalunya stop.

2. By the underground: you have got to catch the red line of the underground (line 1) and get off at Arc de Triomf. After that, go straight along the Av. Lluís Companys until the park of La Ciutadella, turn left and you will have arrived at the residence hall.

3. By train: apart from the underground, there are several trains travelling from the outskirts to the Arc de Triomf station. According to where the train is coming from, you will be able to get off without any need for changing trains.
