  • Description

    Not only will you observe and walk amongst the spectacular animals of the African bush, but you will also partake in a carefully structured and extremely insightful Conservation Course. This will teach you survival skills and how to live in harmony with the natural environment of the renowned Kruger National Park in South Africa.

  • Highlights

    The Conservation Course:

    You will play the role and learn about the function of the classic African Game Ranger and have ample opportunities to apply the theory you learn practically, whilst doing game reserve maintenance and conservation work in the field, alongside the African wildlife that roams freely. This project does not just cater for "academics" and experienced conservationists; all they ask is for enthusiastic participants who want to discover the Real Africa.

    Your course will be broken down into three segments: ecology, management and necessary competence and knowledge in the bush.

    This will include learning and acquiring skills in:
    * Educational bush walks
    * Conservation
    * Identification of animals
    * Animal behavior
    * Animal habitat
    * Navigation
    * Survival & First aid
    * Game tracking

    A comprehensive course that is also fun - you get a lot of experience in putting your skills to the test and meeting new friends on the course.

    At the end of your course, those who have successfully completed the various components of the program will be presented with a certificate in Private Game Farm and Nature Reserve Management and/or Site Game Ranger.
