Volunteer role
The projects will work with between four and eight volunteers at any time, depending on the program and you may get involved in various activities depending on availability and skills. These programs encourage you to help out and provide support wherever it is needed the most; this can involve teaching English, Music or Sports, helping in the classroom, assisting with the children's health care or with a variety of occupational activities. By playing games with volunteers they can learn to live as a child again and to share and express their emotions Generally the volunteers will help out during the afternoons with options 1 and 2, as the children attend school in the mornings, however there may be opportunities to help out further should you choose to. This is a great chance to make a difference to the lives of children who have had a bad start in life, to help build their personalities and develop skills that will aid them in the future.
