    This program is more suited to volunteers whom are looking for a more hard-core volunteer project! By doing volunteer work in India, you will give invaluable help to children and adults in deprived parts of the community. There are many different volunteer projects that need your help and skills, and by taking part, you will receive a very rewarding volunteer experience.

  • Highlights

    The Rajasthan volunteer program in India is a very unique project. Living and working in the Rajasthan Desert, you will be involved in a community development program either in childcare or education and will help local community to prosper.

    Help Teachers

    Volunteer in schools to give much needed support to local teachers. Class sizes in India can be extremely large; by teaching in Indian schools, you will help to free up teachers. As a school volunteer you can also teach English and Maths to Indian children.

    Child-care

    Volunteers work in local child-care centers also known as Aanganbari. The centers provide day-to-day care for young children and also serve pregnant women. Volunteers will be ensuring maximum attendance by the children of the area to these centers as well as giving personal care to the children.

    * Personally met at Delhi airport
    * All meals and accommodation (Delhi- just breakfast)

    * Detailed orientation sight seeing tour of Jaipur
    * Overnight Camel Safari in the desert (eight-week duration only, optional at extra cost for 4 week duration)
    * One-day visit to Taj Mahal
    * One-day Tiger Safari
    * Dedicated on-site assistance from English speaking guides
    * A selection of volunteer projects
    * Free workshop lesson: Yoga or Indian cooking (one workshop on four-week option and two workshops on eight-week option)
    * Use of facilities including, DVD player, stereo, television, board games and internet telephone
    * Free time to explore local area and assistance with planning independent excursions
    * All material required for various activities during the volunteer work like color pens, paper, sports equipment etc.
