Description

We start the day by spreading some grass bales (when available) for the horses to eat while we clean stables and prepare feeds. horses come into stables to eat and while they eat we clean the yard, water trough etc..

When they finish eating we brush/bath the horses clean hooves etc.. volunteers learn about horse behaviour, personality, and of course how to move around them with safety.

Riding lessons and management every day, we have a lunch break around 1:00PM and prepare horses for therapy or lesson as required.

One thing is for sure, you will connect with your inner self and will define you as a better human being.

Highlights

Full time volunteers get accommodation, private room and shower in nice house with pool for only 20USD per night, includes breakfast and lunch.

Learn Spanish, horse riding in the jungle, nature walks, meet some great people and get a tour round the beautiful Island in Mexican Caribbean.

Qualifications

For people with a real desire to learn about horse behaviour not afraid of hard work only please, if you just want a cheap room and food to come and have fun we are not the place for you. However we offer you a unique experience, we have practically all horse personalities, from Alfa to extremely shy and mistrusting, to the pleasure of real horses, born at the sanctuary who have never ever had to endure ill treatment!
