Leading Malaga based Software development company have a great opportunity for an experienced Technical Architect/Lead.

In this role you will share project responsibility with the Project Manager, Solutions Architect and Software Development Manager. You will responsible for others' technical work without directly being responsible for individuals, as a manager. The Technical Lead is essentially a leader but not a manager. The objective of the role is to combine technical skills and knowledge with leadership skills and experience in such a way as to extract the best results possible from the team at any given time. This is accomplished with approval from management and the business whom the Technical Lead must incorporate in discussions in order to establish their support and commitment after approval.

Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and manage all technical aspects of the project, including:
- Development and review of technical requirements
- Assignment of work to team
* Approval of team's designs and implementations
* Provide Project Manager with reliable estimates for technical work and review risk lists for completeness and accuracy
* Deliver high-quality components that meet all project requirements
* Champion of superior solutions
* Oversee responsible development of components, alerting PM to changes in estimates and risks
* Lead and mentor other developers
* Works with Architecture team to determine technology solutions

Qualifications

Leading Malaga based Software development company have a great opportunity for:

* 5 10 years experience designing, coding, and maintaining systems in Java
* Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams
* Demonstrated experience building significant systems with various pieces of J2EE
* Demonstrated experience on Unix/Linux, Apache, and Tomcat platforms. JBoss experience a plus
* Strong experience in database design/implementation, especially DB2, MySQL, or MS SQL
* University degree in Computer Science or a related field
* Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
