    My Client is a leading international Sportsbook, Casino and Poker room based in Gibraltar, South Spain.

    Due to expansion My Client is looking for a Search Engine Optimization/Marketing Specialist (SEO/SEM).

    The role of an SEO/SEM specialist is to increase traffic to a website, to improve rankings on search engines, to track the activities of a website's visitors and to run online marketing campaigns.

    Responsibilities:
    * Maximize organic traffic growth and profitability on the website through SEO and SEM/SMO.
    * Analyse the number of visitors to a website and their activity on the site using web analytics software
    * Make changes to a website to improve its ranking on Google, Yahoo!, etc
    * Optimize site architecture, URL structures and content for maximized indexing and keyword relevance (rewriting skills in excellent English).
    * Run marketing campaigns and analyze them (may include banner adverts, pay-per-click advertising, etc)
    * Promote a website on blogs, forums and wikis
    * Develop strategies to leverage web 2.0, social networking, blogging, user generated content and PR releases to drive qualified traffic and users signup.
    * Work closely with web editors, designers and web developers
    * Understand issues surrounding user experience, accessibility and information architecture
    * Manage the SEO & SEM budget
    * Full responsibility for achieving targets
    * Manage negotiations and sign contracts with third party companies and search engines.
    * Research and develop SEO & SEM best practices to identify new market opportunities and maximize traffic growth and identify a robust SEO keyword list.
    * Actively and constantly research expansion opportunities
    * Ensure that SEO & SEM techniques and strategies are well implemented and consistent
    * Regularly report on key metrics and project status to superiors.

  • Qualifications

    * Minimum of 2-3 years related experience preferably in ecommerce organizations or SEOSEM agencies.
    * Excellent English and communication skills, ability to report to management clearly and effectively.
    * Good understanding of content management systems
    * Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript,PHP, FLASH, CSS, graphic design, etc - advantage
    * Excellent analytical skills to analyze large quantities of data across marketing channels.
    * Proficiency in paid and free SEO tools
    * Hands-on experience with web analytics tools such as google analytics & search engine referral tracking/benchmarking
    * Understanding of how search engines and websites work
    * Good interpersonal skills
    * Ability to work to targets.
