My host family were the most welcoming people I have met. They included me as part of the family and helped me in everyway possible.
I was very pleased by the quality of teachers and the friendliness of staff. My instructor was pretty laid back and had a sense of humour. Also very good at simplifying things for easier understanding.
Learning Classical Arabic as a beginner is not easy for an adult learner. Qalam wa Lawh has realized my dream. Highly qualified professors, an excellent method designed for adults educated in a different language, and supported by good quality audiovisual resources. Also, the pace of learning the language is fast because courses are daily and intensive. The ambiance is fantastic, foreign learners find a great pleasure to be well accommodated and well cared for on cultural excursions.
The professors use a variety of resources and teaching methods to maximize the learning experience. Studying at Qalam wa Lawh has far exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it to anyone who is serious about their studies.
I was able to work with a variety of people, all of whom are very knowledgable and available. I like that we worked at my level. I liked the challenge of discussions. Naima's teaching technique is fabulous for intermediate and advanced students!
I cannot thank you and your staff enough for everything you've done for us. You all routinely went out of your way to help us with everything. We really felt like we were staying with friends! We really can't say enough good things about Qalam wa Lawh.
Warm atmosphere, excellent teachers, complete facilities to help students to learn and situated in the Capital of Morocco. Can't ask for more!
The instruction was great. With the TA's around, there was always someone to help and they always encouraged us to speak in Arabic. I would really like to come back... You are all doing an amazing job with everything, especially the small details. I would recommend the school to anyone who wanted to come to Morocco. I look forward to making it back here!
You feel at home the moment you arrive even though you are in a totally strange country where you are literally speechless. If you wish to, you can lodge at the school which saves a lot of energy and time. All the needs of international students are thought of such as internet access and laundry services amongst others. On top of that, you can find a teacher, a teacher assistant or someone fluent in Arabic to help you all day long, that includes after class hours. All in all, you feel the world is doing all it can to make you learn Arabic here.
The entire staff is excellent and makes students feel warmly welcomed. The facility is wonderful and better than I could have dreamed of. It's great to be able to live with other students.
In my overall experience at Qalam wa Lawh I was most pleased by the motivation and enthusiasm that instructors and staff had for student learning and the intensity yet informality of the school... A group attending the school for a period of time would learn a great deal and students' confidence in the Arabic language would improve as well. Overall, I was very impressed with Qalam wa Lawh and will recommend it to friends, students, or University programs.
I had a great time, received excellent teaching, and learned a lot. It is a friendly place and one I would highly recommend.
