Qalam is a cultural center dedicated to providing a strong academic program for studies in Arabic as a foreign Language. Arabic courses taught at Qalam emphasize building a strong foundation in communication skills and are designed to ensure learners are confident using the language they are taught. Courses are offered in both Modern Standard Arabic and Colloquial Moroccan Arabic. Cultural Excursions to visit various points of interest in Morocco supplement the Arabic training and further enhance the immersion experience provided at Qalam.

Qalam's Arabic program is taught by full-time instructors who specialize in teaching Arabic as a foreign language. They hail from some of the most prestigious Universities in Morocco and all hold advanced degrees specializing in Applied Linguistics and foreign language acquisition. They all are native Arabic speakers and many are also fluent in English and French.
The school facility is state-of-the-art, with traditional Moroccan touch as well as modern necessities like wireless internet and computer labs. Qalam wa Lawh student services offers three types of accommodation for students; host families, school residence apartments, and independent studios.
