The programme is designed for participants from countries from Europe, Northamerica, Australasia (Australia, New Zeland, Tasmania, Micronesia), Brazil, and Russia.

The remunerated practical training programme in Spain can be combined with an intensive language course. The whole experience is a cultural exchange aiming to develop participants abilities and to improve their language skills in a new environment and different culture.

The Work & Discover programme in Spain has a minimum duration of 2 months. Participants can improve their level of Spanish, their communication in the spanish language and deepen their experiences in the world of work in Spain. The program is designed exclusively for participants from the European Union, Northamerica, Australasia, Brazil, and Russia. Other nationalities please ask for Visa requirements.

Highlights

PUROMUNDO cooperates with more than 300 hotels where many participants have done their Internships before.

Participant must expect to do the voluntary practical training between 38 and 40 hours per week.Participant will receive a minimum monthly voluntary gratification of a minimum of 200 EUR plus accomodation and full board.

The tasks will depend on the language skills and experience of each student.

Qualifications

Requirements for EU participants

* Participants must be between 18 and 35 years old
* Previous experience is not necessary, but some hotels may give preference to participants who already have some experience in the tourist industry.
* Participants are expected to be motivated, independent, flexible and open-minded.
* Please note that the placement offered is likely to be influenced by the applicants´ knowledge of Spanish, plus previous experience and academic level
* Some hotels require knowledge of English and/or German

Requirements for Northamerica, Australasia, Brazil, Russia. Others please ask!

* Be full-time student of hotel business or tourism
* Obtain a letter from his / her university, stating that this training is an integral and essential part of their studies.
* 2 weeks of language course in Seville prior to the paid internship, is compulsory
* The programme should last a maximum of 90 days ( 3 months)
* Participants must be between 18 and 35 years old
