  • Description

    Earn valuable hands-on experience participating in local health care initiatives with professionals of all kinds, performing meaningful development work, and exploring the cultural and natural beauty of Peru, Belize, Mexico, India Thailand, Ghana, or Brazil. Provide health care services to areas in rural Andean communities that rarely see a doctor, to clinics in impoverished areas of Oaxaca; work for public health campaigns in Belize; provide HIV and AIDS outreach services in Thailand; vaccinate children and take part in rural health programs in Brazil; participate in door to door outreach efforts in Ghana; work with public and private health institutions to improve the health of community members in Peru; and various types of eldercare in India.

    ProWorld has opportunities for volunteers in our health projects throughout the year. The dual focus of development work and adventures enables tremendous growth experiences for all program participants.
