    Earn valuable hands on experience while immersed in a small community working side by side with local doctors, performing meaningful development work. Explore the cultural and natural beauty of Belize during your beneficial trip to this beautiful Central American country. The dual focus of development work and adventures enables tremendous growth experiences for all program participants.Work in a local health clinic, vaccinate children, and take part in rural health outreach programs.

    Real projects...real experience! Work side by side with local health care providers and community members during your Health Care Internship. Watch the moon rise over the turquoise waters of the Caribbean, hike through the rainforest from your door, explore Mayan ruins, and see monkeys in the secluded jungle. These and other weekly adventures combine with cultural excursions and productive volunteer work to form a comprehensive and unique volunteer experience.

  • Program Fees Include:

    Program fees support our host community economies in the forms of project materials purchases, local salaries, host family payments, and local purchases. Program fees include: full room and board, domestic transportation, and funding of development projects and internships. The program fee also includes multiple trips to Mayan ruins, cultural activities, and snorkeling the barrier reef.
