By taking up an internship abroad, you can apply your skills throughout various environmental projects worldwide. Help initiate in conserving our biodiversity by joining NGOs in grass-roots efforts to preserve the environment working on various projects. Help protect native forests in the Sacred Valley, Peru; perform rapid environmental assessments in a national park in Belize; explore wildlife preserves around Mysore, India; get your hands dirty in Northern Thai reforestation; work on eco-tourism and environmental education in Ghana; and participate in beach clean-ups and protection in Bahia, Brazil. Earn valuable hands on experience while working side by side with the local communities facing challenging agricultural issues and providing critical information to help them understand the need to reduce slashing & burning methods that have left Peru, Belize, Mexico, India Thailand, Ghana, or Brazil barren in places where forests once stood. Immerse yourself in a small community, performing meaningful development work, and exploring the cultural and natural beauty of Peru, Belize, Mexico, India Thailand, Ghana or Brazil. The dual focus of development work and adventures enables tremendous growth experiences for all program participants.

Further, ProWorld's on-site Project Coordinators work year round with our host communities assessing needs, thinking creatively and setting long-term goals for sustainable development and volunteer participation. Programs start every month of the year.
