Work with local schools on a focused literacy, math, computer or other educational project while teaching math or English skills to students. The focus of your teaching project is determined by your skills and the needs of the local children.

Programs are highly supported by an onsite staff team and welcoming community partners. ProWorld, founded in 1998, is a true leader in the fields of study abroad and international development.

Teams of ProWorld Project Coordinators work year round with our host communities assessing needs, thinking creatively, and setting long-term goals for sustainable development and volunteer projects. Programs start every month of the year. Enroll now!

  • Highlights

Real projects...real experience! Work side by side with local teachers and children during your NGO Internship.

Watch the moon rise over the tropical jungle, hike through the rainforest, explore Mayan ruins, and search for monkeys in the secluded jungle. These and other weekly adventures combine with cultural excursion and productive volunteer work to form a comprehensive and unique volunteer experience.
