    This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to live in beautiful Belize, immerse yourself in the local community, and work to improve the lives, health, and future of this amazing Caribbean country and its people. Bring your volunteering skills to the table while you build an elementary school, construct a new roof for the clinic, construct a playground, or complete another essential project while working side by side with local community members.

In addition to meaningful development work, community celebrations and weekly adventures your group of ProWorld volunteers will explore exotic caves, reef, search for the elusive jaguar, and hike to Mayan ruins.     Belize is a peaceful and complex country rich with cultural diversity and stunning natural beauty. Only two hours away from the U.S., this English-speaking country offers authentic and unforgettable experiences.

    Belize is on the Caribbean coast nestled between Mexico and Guatemala. It offers an intriguing mix of tropical forests, majestic mountains, mysterious Mayan temples, and excellent opportunities for diving and fishing. In a single day you can go from tropical forests to the longest barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere.

    You'll work in real projects while gaining real experience! Work side by side with local community members, watch the moon rise over the rainforest, hike through the jungle from your front door, explore Mayan ruins, and search for monkeys in the secluded jungle.

    These and other weekly adventures combine with cultural excursion and productive volunteer work to form a comprehensive and unique summer experience. Join a fun and adventurous group of volunteers and make this an unforgettable experience.

  • Program Fees Include:

    Program fees support our host community economies in the forms of project materials purchases, local salaries, host family payments, and local purchases.

    Program fees include: full room and board, domestic transportation, 24 hour safety and medical services, and funding of development projects and internships. The program fee also includes world class cultural and adventure activities.
